Creating Fall Fashion with Topshop

So Autumn is upon us, meaning: FALL FASHION. Warm tones of autumn leaves and different hues of reds, golds and browns in our clothes. Accessorizing your outfit with different hats and scarves. Fall gives me those tingly, warm feelings because it constantly reminds me that the holidays are approaching. Autumn is the perfect transition into "that time of year" where families get together and people start to cozy up.
So here are two outfits that I've put together from Topshop. They both have a very obvious fall-flare to them and I also added some fall 2013 trends: plaid, pork-pie hats and high-necked tank tops.

Disclaimer: All of the clothes seen below are from Topshop and are not affiliated with our blog in any sort of way.
A perfect daytime-casual outfit consisting of a comfortable skirt, plaid shirt, walking boots and a hat to protect your face from the sun. This outfit screams out "FALL IS HERE". I always love a simple, vintage outfit because people often think of fashion in a complicated, overly complicated way of putting clothes together.
I see this outfit roaming the streets with fall leaves falling down or sitting down in a cafe with a latte in hand. That is what fashion is supposed to state.

I would love this outfit for a night out. The edginess of the patent leather black skirt adds such a wow-factor to all of the other simple components of this outfit. Mustard yellow and ivory are two fall 'must have' colors. I just love how simple this outfit is, without any patterns or prints, but still has the ability to be comment-worthy to the average passer-by. Each piece is versatile and could easily be paired with any other items in your closet.

  1. Hi guys, do you think you could do a post about homecoming dresses? I'm freaking out because I can't find any for a relatively good price. Thanks!
